OpenAIは米国時間の1月24日、「GPT-3.5 Turbo」のアップデートおよびAPI料金の値下げを発表しました。以前11月には大幅な値下げをおこなっていましたが、そこからさらに入力金額が50%、出力金額が25%削減されています。
具体的な金額は
従来：入力$0.001/1K、出力$0.002/1K
新 ：入力$0.0005/1K、出力$0.0015/1K
という料金になりました。

これにより、GPT-3.5モデルにはなりますが安価で使いやすくなりました。
GPT-4モデルにくらべ回答に柔軟性にはかけるものの、基本的なタスクなどについては補助として利用する分には非常に有用的です。内容は以下の通りです。
We released a new GPT-3.5 Turbo model (‘gpt-3.5-turbo-0125’) last week with input prices reduced by 50% to $0.0005/1K tokens and output prices reduced by 25% to $0.0015/1K tokens. This model also includes various minor improvements such as a bug fix for UTF-8 encoding in function calls. The default ‘gpt-3.5-turbo’ will point to this new model starting Feb 15th.
